Role Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dynamic leader to head the university’s student well-being and engagement initiatives. The Director will play a crucial role in fostering a positive campus environment by promoting mental health, emotional resilience, and purposeful student involvement in co-curricular activities like sports, arts, drama, and community outreach. This role is vital in addressing student stress and preventing instances of emotional distress or suicide.
Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement student wellness and mental health programs.

Create a strong support system through counseling, mentorship, and peer networks.

Drive student engagement in sports, cultural clubs, arts, and social impact projects.

Organize workshops, awareness campaigns, and life skills training.

Collaborate with academic and administrative departments for holistic student development.

Identify at-risk students early and provide timely interventions.

Build partnerships with mental health professionals and NGOs.

Promote a campus culture of openness, empathy, and emotional safety.
Qualifications & Experience:

Master’s or Ph.D. in Psychology, Social Work, Education, or related field.

10+ years of experience in student affairs, counseling, youth development, or wellness programs.

Proven track record in designing impactful student engagement or mental health initiatives.

Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and crisis management capability.

Experience in working with diverse student populations and building inclusive environments.
